SOCIETY FOR ASSISTANCE TO THE DISTRESSED HUMANITY (SADH)

Society for Assistance to the Distressed Humanity (SADH) is a non-government, local, development organization. It was established on 05.09.1998 with the initiation of a group of educated, like-minded social workers especially initiatives of Abdus Sabur Sheikh with an aim to promote the socio-economic and cultural status of the rural poor and vulnerable people emphasizing the women, Youths and the children. It is formed as local level community based non-government, nonpolitical and non-profitable social development organization. It has been working to ensure women rights and leadership and also socio-economic development of the urban and rural under privileged people of Bangladesh and establishment of their basic rights. Society for Assistance to the Distressed Humanity (SADH) thought that for the upliftment of the vulnerable groups. It emphasized on quality of services and staff development to enhance the managerial and service delivery capacity has been considered carefully which will lead the program towards SADH's sustainable development. Out of project inputs, a process has been generated for mobilizing local resources in favor of the organized group members. Inputs of Skill training & Functional Literacy will be used as capital investment for leading the groups towards sustainability. Out of training, group member's potentiality will be strengthened to mobilize local resources in favor of it
